Date explored for 2008/09 Summit

It has been an eventful year for each of the participants of 2007's Summit for Servant Leaders. Center for Sharing has deepened work in Mexico, expanded into the Philippines, and faced new obstacles and victories in India. Northwest Nazarene University has greeted new students and professors from Kazakhstan and Ukraine, while continuing to cultivate new opportunities at home and abroad for students of leadership. The MCF deepened partnerships with old and new which took them to Afghanistan with Morningstar Development.
And this is the tip of the iceberg. In January, we'd like to better inform each of our guests at the 2008/09 Summit for Servant Leaders to be held in Hood River, Oregon. The one day event will include a morning and afternoon workshop focused on sharpening the skills of Servant Leader groups, with each workshop surrounded by round-table discussion of each organization's challenges and victories since we last met.
You can join the one day event by leaving a message on this blog or writing to chris@TheMCF.org. Your thoughts and ideas are welcome to ensure we endeavor to better serve each of you and your missions. We are currently considering January 14 as our date, details to be determined.
New participants could include Morningstar Development, John Haller Institute, and Catalyst Projects as we work to broaden our collaborative work and effect a lasting and more fruitful outcome of our work. Stay posted.
